At Otis College of Art and Design, I was a part of the Residence Assistants Summer of Art Program where high school students spend the summer taking college art classes and participating in various programs throughout the summer. It was here that I first became interested in education and learned about planning and working on teams for education.
I was the cartooning and illustration teaching artist at Art Rebel in Los Angeles for kids aged 6-12.
I was a teaching artist for Streetside Stories in San Francisco. I taught grades 2-5 comics and zines.
I did a week-long comics workshop for teens and youth for Comics of Color for the Center For The Arts in Eagle Rock, CA.
I did 2 workshops for ABQ Zine Fest called Making Comix with Lawrence Lindell.
I did a presentation at Euzine Fest called COMICS AS THERAPY AND SELF EXPRESSION about mental health and comics and I did a 2 week teaching artist residency with Creativity Explored partnered with San Francisco Zine Fest.
